I recently stayed at Swiio Hotel Ximending and had a great experience. The interior of the room was clean and nicely decorated, and I loved the strong water pressure in the shower. The hotel staff, particularly Elin and Jocelyn, were helpful and made our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Taipei.

Really great location. Especially for gay travelers, this is a great location to start out your trip in Taipei. The building is a bit strange, but once you are inside it's a nice, clean, modern and stylish room that is definitely value for money.
One of the desk clerks spoke perfect English and was very helpful with our daily itinerary, but the other one we encountered didn't speak English at all. Lack of a real lobby area or any restaurants, etc. in the hotel is a bit of a downer, but overall I was there in Taipei to see the city itself, so having a nice place in the center of town was perfect for me. The room was very nice. The could use better signage outside though. Fortunately we could read the Chinese characters, but for most Western tourists it would be difficult to find.

The staff was helpful and the setting was great! Plenty of restaurants to eat close by, like Modern Toilet that was only 5 minutes' walk away. Longshan temple was 1 mile away, I could even walk there. I enjoyed the location.
Nothing not to love.

I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. The prices were reasonable and the attention to detail in the rooms was impressive. The hotel is conveniently located in the lively Ximending area, right in the heart of the pedestrian zone. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. The rooms were well-appointed with all the necessary facilities, including a comfortable king-sized bed, a bathtub, and reliable wifi. Plus, having breakfast included made starting the day a breeze.
All aspects of my stay at this hotel were satisfactory.

We have difficulties to find the hotel. We walked a few street and there is no obvious signage of the hotel. As there is no hotel lobby and we have to ask around for the hotel which no one know this hotel name in mandarin. If there is an obvious signage and precise location indicates in the wedsite would be better. After all, the service staff was very helpful. Hotel interior was pretty new. The hotel location is jus across a street of xinmending!

Clean and minimalist design. The reception staff are very friendly as well even though I stayed for only 1 night.
Room is quite small for family with young children. Our luggage n baby stroller took up the whole passage way into the room. More suitable for solo and couple travellers. But nevertheless, it's still comfortable.

Nice deco and excellent frontdesk service. Made some enquiries pertaining to Yehliu and the frontdesk staff voluntered to check out the details. Thereafter, he dropped by our room with the direction neatly penned down on a piece of paper.
The toilet/bathroom is a little bit squeezy and would be good if the toilet door can be more frosted for privacy reasons (but still alright)

The hotel room was cozy and well-maintained, perfect for a romantic getaway. We were impressed with the comfortable bed that easily accommodated two people. the location was superb, in the midst of a bustling city, yet the room was quiet and peaceful. the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating, always willing to help us with directions and recommendations.
The view from our room was not great, but it did not bother us much as we spent most of our time exploring the city. the reception staff could have been friendlier.

The cozy room was nice, with clean sheets and basic toiletries provided. The location was good, being in the middle of a bustling area with plenty of food choices. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always willing to help with requests.
The room was quite small and cramped, and not very soundproof. There was a lot of noise from the street and neighboring rooms, making it difficult to sleep.

The hotel's location is a plus, with easy access to shopping and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful, with some speaking multiple languages. Rooms are clean and come with daily replenishment of toiletries and drinks. Some rooms have queen size beds and there is a hotel bar to unwind.
Despite the hotel's strategic location, the entrance is through a grotty, unclean floor level hallway.
